This site is to collect information on great, free, “dispersed camping” spots on public land, usually National Forest land or BLM land. There are also a few paid campgrounds included if they are particularly nice.
I’m behind on getting all the great places from the past 2 years on the map, but there is a page summarizing some of my favorite spots.
In order to help make sure these places don’t get too popular, this site is not in any search engine.
